More than 100 people have supported SOS-RTA association
Over 100 people supported SOS-RTA association and went out to protest in the town of Burgas. The reason for the protest procession was improper parking of vehicles in the town, which makes the movement of pedestrians in pedestrian areas, sidewalks, etc. difficult and even impossible

"The sidewalk is not for parking", "Do not interfere", "Are you tolerant?" were only some of the posters, with which mothers with prams went out to protest. The protest aimed at showing drivers of cars that they should not park in an improper way in the city, with which they hinder movement of pedestrians and create a serious hazard of incidents on the road. The group gathered in Borisova Garden in the town of Burgas and then blocked Hristo Botev boulevard for 15 minutes, while only buses from the city line were allowed during that time.

SOS-RTA association are adamant that this will not be a single act and that from now onwards they will take this problem up seriously until its solution is found. "In the first place municipality of Burgas must take up the removal of the improperly parked cars on sidewalks and after that it must consider the construction of parking lots", the president of the association Kristiyan Kirov commented and his colleague Manol Todorov added “The municipality must consider where car parks can be built on several levels in order to resolve these barriers.”
I am sure that this could be both here in Vazrazhdane and in many other places and unoccupied sites. If 1000 people gather and protest against something in another country, measures would be taken immediately, but this is almost impossible in Bulgaria".
Next week the organization will continue with its social activities. Several visits to schools and kindergartens on the territory of the town of Burgas are planned, where several trainings on the topic of "road safety” will be held. The days have not been selected randomly because the third global week of road safety will be marked during the period May 4th - 10th.
